All meetings of the North Bay Chapter are open to the public, and
the Chapter welcomes all tax practitioners and other professionals
to attend. Membership is available, which allows discounted admission
to the meetings and seminars. See Reservation
and Pricing Policy for more information on pricing and cancellation
policies.
Chapter Meetings offering CPE
- The Chapter has meetings with dinner in Marin
on the third Thursday of each month except February through April,
and has meetings with lunch in Santa Rosa on the fourth Tuesday
of each month except February through April. The February and
March meetings rotate between locations on the third Thursday
of each month, each with dinner. Each dinner or lunch meeting
offers one to two hours of Continuing Professional Education.

Other Chapter Meetings
- The Board of Directors usually meets bi-monthly, generally
the third Thursday of each month. All members are welcome.
- Also, informal breakfast and lunch networking
meetings are held in local areas. No registration is required
for these meetings.
Chapter Seminars
- Our annual Last Chance Seminar offers Federal and California
tax law updates needed to prepare tax returns for the coming tax season. This one-day seminar will be presented by Lisa Ihm, EA & Vicki Mulak, EA, CFP
on Friday January 13, 2012 at the Four Points Sheraton in San Rafael. Lisa will present the Federal Tax update and Vicki will present the California Tax update.

- The North Bay Chapter occassionally presents half day and full day seminars on various topics. In August 2011 we offered a seminar
covering Winery & Vineyard tax accounting with Gregg Scott, CPA and David Pardes.
- In October 2011, the North Bay Chapter hosted a 2 day COD Seminar
presented by Lisa Ihm, EA. In past years, the North Bay Chapter had sponsored an annual
Wine Country Seminar each fall.
- Each year North Bay Chapter CSEA, along with several other Bay Area Chapters, co-host an annual one-day
Tax Practitioner/IRS Town Hall Meeting. This event was presented September
19th 2011 in Emeryville. The day was packed full of information and a chance to interact with IRS, FTB & Other Government Agency representatives. The meeting
included information and updates on hot topics such as Tax Audits involving Electronic Accounting Software, Registered Domestic Partners, Criminal Investigations and more.
