  • The North Bay Chapter sponsors an annual Wine Country Seminar. It is presented each fall. For 2009, it will be held on November 9th & 10th at the Petaluma Community Center. Topics will include S corporations with an emphasis on basis issues, IRS procedures critical to representation, Top 10 individual tax planning issues, A look at some practitioner's legal issues in dealings with trust and estate clients and representatives. and for those interested, an added evening bonus class of 2 hours of professional ethics for EA's.

  • Each year North Bay Chapter CSEA, along with several other Bay Area Chapters, co-host an annual one-day Tax Practitioner/IRS – Town Hall Meeting. This event will be presented September 22, 23 or 24th at 3 different locations. The day is packed full of information and a chance to interact with IRS, FTB & Other Government Agency representatives. The meeting includes information on using IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service to benefit your clients and provides updates on current hot topics relating to the IRS (including foreclosures, short sales, personal vs rental use of property, and current hot topics).
