Chapter Meeting Reservation and Pricing Policy

PURPOSE OF NORTH BAY CHAPTER MONTHLY MEETING
The Chapter shall hold regular Monthly Meetings (except during the month of April) to provide:

A Chapter forum to keep Members updated on Chapter events and operations
An educational opportunity to inform Members of timely and relevant matters and to allow CPE for these events
A social atmosphere to promote the Chapter and facilitate networking among Members.

RESERVATION POLICY
Monthly Meetings are open to Members and non-members. All reservations must be made on the Chapter website. The cost for attending is as follows:

Members
All Members making a timely reservation and paying by the early registration discount date for that Monthly Meeting will receive a $5.00 discount off the full price. Those Members making reservations or paying after that time, including walk-ins, will pay full price.
Non-Members, including Office Staff & Guests of Member
A Chapter Member may invite non-member guests to accompany them at a meeting at the Member rate (including the early registration discount if timely reservation and payment is made). If the guest is eligible for CSEA membership at any level, they will be limited to attendance at one meeting at the Member rate, and the non-Member rate will apply for subsequent Chapter meetings.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY

Members and other registrants shall have the right to change their reservations to another meeting no later than the early registration date, and will be able to credit the full payment made to the charge of the other meeting. If the registrant does not choose to change their reservation, or the volunteer assisting them finds it to be administratively simpler, a refund can be issued in any form convenient to the volunteer.

All cancellations or requests for changing reservations after the early registration date shall result in no refunds or credits.

Any individual shall have the right to petition the Board, on behalf of themselves or another, by giving a written explanation of any extenuating circumstances which should be taken into consideration for possible abatement of charges. The Board of Directors shall be responsible for deciding whether to refund any or all of the charges for good cause.

PAYMENT POLICY
Advance payment, especially by credit card is encouraged. Payment by cash or check is allowed.

Pricing - Dinner meetings: CSEA members $40; non-members $50. Lunch meetings: CSEA members $35; non-members $45. $5 discount for early-bird registration (see current newsletter for early-bird date).

THIS POLICY
is intended to be a guideline, subject to modifications by the Board of Directors at any time.
