Raven Deerwater, EA, PhD

The North Bay Chapter of the CSEA has a new President! Raven Deerwater, EA, PhD is likely to surprise you as you get to know him and learn of his interesting background and diverse talents. Be encouraged to take the opportunity to contact him or chat with him when you meet up at the next

Chapter event or wherever you may happen to track him down (Raven and his wife, Becky, reside and work on the Mendocino coast). Who knows what intriguing bits of trivia you will learn, for example, when Raven was a camp counselor in 1980 at Lake Nebagamon, WI one of the campers in the next cabin was Doug Shulman, now the Commissioner of the IRS! Yes, it can be a small world! Make it smaller yourself by heading to the Mendocino area between Aug 6th and September 6th where you may be able to experience his acting talents as he plays Arnold in Somerset Maugham's The Circle showing at the Mendocino Theatre Company. (Information on the play and obtaining tickets is best accessed by the theater's website: www.mendocinotheatre.org. Right now, the information is under the "Upcoming Shows" tab. Soon it will be under the "Now Playing" tab.) Raven is not new to the theater, he has been active with MTC for over ten years. His teenage daughters Lilly and Raina also enjoy acting.
