This sums up how most of us feel during tax season: running as fast as we can, with a whistle in our mouth, ready to call a foul on our clients, and wanting to call Time Out at every turn. |

TAX SEASON!!! Why do we cancel regular meetings, forgo vacations in the snow, clear our calendars of any and every possible extra activity? Doesn't it take all the time and energy we can scrape up to do all those tax returns? Right?! Some people are better at this than others. Richard Ogg comes to mind as one who not only continues his many other activities but even adds some at this time of year. Yes, he sort of redefines "Wild and Crazy"! Richard is employed full time in management at Agilent Technologies, he is an elder and teacher at Santa Rosa Bible Church, he is a loving husband and father of three adult children and one grandson. In addition to all of that he referees High School Basketball and is the commissioner of the SRBC youth basketball league. Those of you who know a bit about basketball may realize that its season does not dovetail well with tax season; no, it seriously overlaps. He spends many hours a week on his basketball commitments and still manages to help his wife juggle those tax returns. He is an amazing guy...but I am biased!
