Cindy Brillhart-True is working extra long hours this time of year as she strives to take care of her tax and financial clients as well as direct and perform in the upcoming Hoochi-Doo production of The Secret Garden a Tony award winning musical based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Cindy is the Associate Artistic Director of Hoochi-Doo Productions and contributes many hours towards the success of the company.

Cindy has been acting, singing, and playing musical instruments for as long as she can remember. A fifth generation Kansan, Cindy was actually raised in Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she earned a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Business degree. After graduation, Cindy was recruited by a Fortune 500 company and happily relocated to beautiful northern California. Five years later Cindy decided to leave the corporate world and went to work with a local CPA. Shortly thereafter she passed first the CPA exam and then the EA exam and, upon the retirement of the CPA she was working with, launched out on her own. Cindy loves her work and helping her clients with income tax preparation as well as their financial planning needs. Cindy works out of her home with her beautiful calico cat by her side (and often laying on her papers).

As for Cindy's other passion, she is confident that people of all ages will be delighted by The Secret Garden which will be performed from July 10 - 26 at the Playbox theater on the grounds of The Sonoma Charter School, 17202 Sonoma Hwy, Sonoma, CA.
